However it wasn’t until 2000 that he became interested in pursuing a career in IT. In 2001, he enrolled at the Banff & Buchan College in Fraserburgh. Three years and two courses later, he decided to go to university and choose the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland which he started in 2004.
Paul then studied the Computing for Internet & Multimedia course there for the next two years to gain his degree. In his degree year he gained a distinction and was then rewarded with the ConnocoPhillips prize, for the student with the highest academic achievement. The year after he went on to complete his honors degree.
After completing his studying, he decided to stay in Aberdeen to pursue a career in IT. He was first given this opportunity by Grampian Software. Grampian Software is a small development house, which specializes in Transport and Whiskey Industry systems and is currently the UK market leader.
